Serious AI work changes when the environment is right. The point is not co-living. It is having the right people, enough focus to do hard work, and enough proximity to Kampong AI to stay plugged into what matters.
The first version is intentionally small, around 10 to 20 people. That matters because the mix of people, pace, and space will decide whether this becomes genuinely useful or just another nice-sounding idea.
This is also meant to be operated long term by SQ Collective, not run once and forgotten. That gives it room to build programming that compounds over time: better dinners, sharper visitors, stronger norms, and more useful relationships across cohorts.
